Anahata Tropical Private Villas, on Gili Air in Indonesia, decides what happens to the data collected on this site. In the language of the law, Anahata is the data controller. Anything on this page can be asked about at info@anahata-giliair.com.
What is collected
When you send a booking request or book a stay: your first name and family name, your email address, your telephone or WhatsApp number, the villa, the dates, the number of guests, and anything you write in the message field.
When you pay: the payment is taken on the bank's own page. The card number never passes through this site and is never stored here. What comes back is whether the payment succeeded, and for how much.
When you use the chat on the site: what you type in it, so that an answer can be written.
When you accept measurement: which pages are read, how long, from which country, and how the pages are used. Nothing of this loads before you accept, and declining costs you nothing on the site.
Why
To answer your request, to hold your dates, to take a payment, to send you the confirmation and the practical details before your arrival, and to keep the accounts. Measurement exists only to see which pages are useful and which are not.
For how long
A booking is kept while the stay is being organised and afterwards for as long as the accounts require it. A request that never becomes a stay is kept for one season and then removed. Measurement data is kept for the period each tool applies by default and is never used to identify a person.
Who else sees it
A few companies work on Anahata's behalf, each on one job, each seeing only what that job needs. In the language of the law they are processors.
- Kinepik SRL builds and runs this site and the booking system, and sees the bookings.
- Smoobu holds the calendar and the reservations, and receives your booking and your name.
- Resend sends the emails from the site, and receives your email address and what the message says.
- Google Analytics 4 counts the visits, and only after you accept.
- Microsoft Clarity shows how the pages are used, with the text on the page hidden, and only after you accept.
- Anthropic answers the chat on the site, and receives the question you type into it.
Some of these companies are outside the European Union. Each of them works under a contract that requires it to protect your data and to use it for nothing else.
Your data is never sold, and it is never passed to anyone for advertising.
What you can ask for
A copy of what is held about you, a correction, a deletion, or a stop. One email to info@anahata-giliair.com is enough, and the answer comes from a person.
Cookies
Two measurement tools, named above, and nothing else. Neither of them loads before you accept, your choice is remembered on your device, and it can be changed at any time at the bottom of any page.
