How to find us

Arrival

Arrival from Lombok

There is an international airport in Praya. From there you can reach Gili Air most conveniently by taxi (about 2 hours) and the boat (about 20 minutes).

On request we can organize your transport with taxi and private boat from the airport to the harbor in Gili Air (1.200.000 IDR). The transport can also be organized well by yourself. If you take the Public Boat in Bangsal (Attention: last crossing at about 16:30) and / or good at haggling this is certainly the cheaper option.

If you are coming from elsewhere in Lombok and would like to organize the transport by us, please contact us to check the possibilities.

Arrival from Bali

Most people arrive to Gili Air by speedboat. But you can also fly to Lombok (LOP) or take the slow ferry from Padang Bai (Bali) to Lembar (Lombok).

From door to door it takes about the same time with the airplane as with the speedboat (depending on where your stay in Bali). The journey with the slow ferry takes much longer.
If you wish for us to organize private transport for you from Lombok to Gili Air, please inform us in time.

The speedboats to Gili Air leave from Padang Bai, Amed and Serangan (only in peak season). The price and the timetable vary according to the season and provider. Please inquire directly with the numerous suppliers.

We always recommend you to take a morning boat, as the wind and waves can pick up in the afternoon. The waves can sometimes also lead to cancellations of the speedboats.

Arrival from Gili Meno and Gili Trawangan

There are daily public boats between the three islands. The speedboats from / to Bali stop in Gili Air and Gili Trawangan. Some of them also in Gili Meno.

We always recommend you to take a morning boat, as the wind and waves can pick up in the afternoon. The waves can sometimes also lead to cancellations of the speedboats.

On Gili Air

If you arrive during the day, you can take one of the numerous Cidomo (horse-drawn carriages) for 150.000 IDR or walk in about 15 minutes.

We recommend you to print out the map or save it on your phone (the internet connection on the island is not always good).
